Front Hatch - Manual Operation

The front hatch may be opened and closed manually. The control switch is located on the 24VDC distribution panel in the engine service compartment. Refer to the image.

The generator controller attempts to keep the hatch closed when the engine is not up to temperature, and open if it is.

To enter Manual Operation mode, hold the hatch switch in the opposite of its current desired state for 15 seconds.

For example, if the engine is off, push the switch to open the hatch. After 15 seconds, the hatch alarm is triggered and the hatch can be manually opened and closed.

To reset this alarm and allow normal operation, use the switch to put the hatch back intoits desired state for 5 seconds.

The hatch position can also be reset by turning the generator controller on and then off.
